  UK/EU Brexit announce “technical” breakthrough, but now it faces the political hurdle

  

  UK and EU officials have agreed the draft text of a Brexit agreement after months of negotiations. A cabinet source told the BBC that the document has been agreed at a technical level by officials from both sides after intensive discussions this week. A special cabinet meeting will be held at 14:00 GMT on Wednesday as Theresa May seeks ministers' backing.

  Bolsonaro's campaign accounts are under review for possible illegal donations

  

  Brazil’s top electoral authority said it has found irregularities in the campaign accounts of President-elect Jair Bolsonaro and gave him three days to explain. In a document published late Monday, the TSE electoral court described possible campaign donations from illegal sources, donations from unidentified donors and lack of information on how campaign funds were spent, among other issues.

  Main shareholders of Brazil's largest meat processor charged with corruption have been released

  

  Brazil’s top appeals court has ordered the release of one of meat processor JBS’ controlling shareholders, Joesley Batista, and Ricardo Saud, a lawyer for J&F Investimentos, which controls JBS. Both were arrested on Friday in an investigation into illegal campaign contributions and alleged bribery of government officials.

  Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi no longer deserving of Amnesty International award

  Combatant buried in the Falklands is taken back by the family to Argentina

  

  Next 5 December for the first time in 36 years the remains of an Argentine combatant buried in the Falkland Islands will be returned to the province of Córdoba where his family lives. Air Force Captain Luis Darío José Castagnari remains lie in a grave at the Argentine military cemetery in Darwin, and in a special ceremony, with members of his family, will be flown back to Argentina.
