Serious rioting in Buenos Aires leaves thousands of trainl commuters stranded

Serious rioting broke out Thrusday in the heart of Buenos Aires when protesting outsourced workers interrupted railway services in one of the main central stations, Constitucion, which then triggered a furious reaction from passengers. Law enforcement officials were surprised by the intensity and extent of the rioting that left several policemen and civilians injured and tens of arrests.

Cars and construction spur Argentina industrial production 12.5% in November

Argentina's industrial production grew more than expected in November, on the back of big gains in automobile and construction materials output. Industrial production last month rose 12.5% on the year, and 4.1% in seasonally adjusted terms from October, the national statistics agency, Indec, reported Friday.
