  Argentina's new Army chief, Division General Ricardo Luis Cundom, 59, is a Malvinas war veteran and although originally from the Infantry he commanded the Army's air wing and has received commando and parachutist training, according to the reports in Buenos Aires.

  Argentina again threatens Falklands' oil companies with legal actions, this time in London

  

  Argentina's Secretary of State for Malvinas Affairs, Daniel Filmus, defended Argentina´s sovereignty rights over the Falkland Islands in a speech he delivered in London condemning UK´s recent decision to increase its military presence in the South Atlantic, outlined the scope of the criminal lawsuit against oil companies 'illegally' operating in Falklands/Malvinas waters and warned of the environmental risks these activities entail.

  Falklands/Malvinas war documents declassified; Argentine Defense ministry has 30 days to make them available

  

  The Argentine government on Monday officially declassified secret files relating to the country's 1982 war with Britain over the Falkland Islands. The Defense Ministry has 30 working days to establish a mechanism for members of the public to consult the records, according to a resolution published in the official gazette.

  BBC2 To Gear claims “they threw us out of Argentina for the political capital”

  

  BBC2’s Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has said his crew did nothing wrong and affirmed “someone could have been killed”, following incidents in which a group of people in Tierra del Fuego threw stones at their cars, thinking the license plates they used for filming were directly alluding to the Falklands/Malvinas War.
