A flurry of activity and visits at the Falkland Islands stand at the Labour Party Convention taking place in Liverpool with Members of the Legislative Assembly Leona Roberts and Mark Pollard as hosts with the support from staff of the Falklands Government Office in London.
British Labour party members are to vote on keeping “all options on the table” on Brexit, including possibly campaigning for a new referendum at their conference. Party power brokers have agreed on the wording for Tuesday's motion on what the party should do about Brexit if it cannot get a general election.
The Falkland Islands are making the round of British political parties conferences, and in a big way. It has been the Islands’ policy to attend these conferences to put their views across and to keep in touch with the political system and UK public opinion, their most effective support to ensure Falklands' self determination.
