    On Wednesday, Downing Street issued a statement saying Mr. Cameron his wife and children did not benefit from offshore funds

    British Prime Minister David Cameron has said he and his wife Samantha owned shares in an offshore trust set up by his late father, before selling them for £30,000 in 2010. The PM has faced questions over Blairmore Holdings, an offshore company set up by his late father, Ian, and finally on Thursday he old ITV News he had paid all UK taxes due on the profits he made from the sale of the shares and said the firm had not been set up to avoid tax.

    Argentine Army reiterates its commitment to the Malvinas cause on invasion anniversary

    “April 2, 1982 is an unforgettable date in the glorious history of the homeland,” said Suñer, calling it the “anniversary of the recovery” of the Islands.<br />

    Argentina’s Army Chief Diego Luis Suner said on Saturday that the “Malvinas cause” continues to be a “national, standing and inalienable objective” of the Argentine people. The statement was made on the 34th anniversary of the South Atlantic conflict that was triggered by the Argentine military invasion of the Falklands in 1982.

    Falklands hospitality praised by stranded Argentine runners

    Falkland Islands provided twenty five Argentine nationals with humanitarian aid (food, warmth and shelter) following the announcement of a week long delay to their return flight to Chile. The group was made up of marathon runners and associates who came to the Islands on March 19 and participated in the Sunday Standard Chartered bank Stanley Marathon. The competition was won by Argentine athlete Rafael Lencina in record time.
