The president of the European Commission has indicated that funding for Ireland's cross-border projects will continue after Brexit. Jean-Claude Juncker said he could see “no more important use” of the European budget than maintaining the peace process in Ireland. He was speaking at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.     That's good news. I'm glad they're taking the NI issue seriously, no one wants renewed violence as collateral damage from Brexit.

    I don't think they'll need them, but they might want them for easier travel in Europe and other benefits. Lots of people in England have been applying for Irish passports since Brexit.
