    Despite Brazilian President Luiz Inàcio Lula da Silva's efforts to come up with a peace plan for the ongoing war in Europe, Ukraine replied Friday that it will not give up Crimea, a peninsula annexed by Russia in 2014, in exchange for the end of the conflict, something which the South American leader had suggested as a possible course of action.

    Brazil resumes fresh beef exports to China, 124,400 tons in March

    Brazil automatically suspended beef exports to the Chinese market as of February 23 due to the discovery of an atypical case of BSE, better known as “mad cow disease.”

    Brazilian exports of fresh beef reached 124,440 tons in March, a drop of 26.4% year-on-year, amid the self-imposed suspension of protein shipments to China that was only lifted at the end of last month, according to data from the federal government this month.

    A man took an axe to a daycare center in Brazil and killed four children

    According to the Police, the event occurred early in the morning when the 25-year-old man jumped over the wall of the daycare center and attacked the children with an axe.

    Four children were killed and at least four injured Wednesday in an attack on a daycare center in southern Brazil.
