    Chile denounces Argentina drying up binational river

    Following complaints by Chilean ranchers, Santiago sent a note to Argentina for works that dried up the Vizcachas, a transboundary river originating in southeast Santa Cruz and reaching Magallanes. The land owners claim that the binational watercourse has suddenly dried up and denounce that it is due to works carried out on the Argentine side.

    Chile votes again to draft new Constitution

    Last year's draft was turned down massively in a referendum, but Boric chose to insist

    Over 15 million Chileans are to vote Sunday in order to form the 50-member body to draft a new Constitution with which to replace the one stemming from the Augusto Pinochet military regime after the previous project was massively turned down in a referendum in September last. Voting is mandatory and fines are imposed on those who cannot justify their omission.

    Chile keeps track of the Chinese jigger fleet crossing from the Atlantic to the Pacific

    The Chilean Navy and the country's National Fisheries Service, Sernapesca, reported that they are keeping track of the “devastating” Chinese fleet sailing from the Atlantic to the Pacific oceans and currently sailing north along the Chilean coast line, after ending its squid season.
