  Falkands: Successful repatriation flight to Punta Arenas

  

  The repatriation flight organised by the Falkland Islands Government arrived this morning, 31 July 2020, from Punta Arenas, Chile returning two Falkland Island residents to the Islands, and departing with 30 passengers on-board.

  Argentina asks Uruguay on Falklands' flights information which allegedly land in Carrasco airport

  

  The government of President Alberto Fernandez thanked Uruguay for supporting Argentina's sovereignty Malvinas Islands' claim during the latest Mercosur summit but also asked for information on flights to the Islands that land in Carrasco airport.

  Falklands' pub incident: NZ longliner crew members arrested; Magistrate court sentencing July 27

  

  Falkland Islands' Justices of the Peace last week remanded three individuals in custody after they entered guilty pleas for charges of violent disorder. Sonny Ball, Samuel Goldsworthy, and Chassy Duncan appeared at the Summary Court after they were involved in a serious incident on the evening of Monday 29 June.

  Florencia Kirchner's “nanny” in Cuba rewarded with Argentine embassy in UK

  

  Javier Figueroa, currently head of the Argentine embassy in Cuba has been appointed as the next ambassador in the United Kingdom, and according to Clarin is an expert on Malvinas affairs. His time in Havana coincided with Cristina Fernandez daughter Florencia Kirchner medical internment, which impeded her from travelling back to Argentina.
