  Air-link Falklands/Sao Paulo “discontinued” or exchanged for a direct flight from Buenos Aires

  

  Argentine media is reporting that Buenos Aires informed the UK is not willing to renew the 2019 political agreement which enabled the establishment of a second air link between the Falkland Islands and the continent (Brazil), but is prepared to discuss a new air link under different conditions.

  Ushuaia expects 250,000 visitors in 2022/23 cruise season

  Uruguayan tourism full steam ahead during Easter Week

  

  Some 114,000 have crossed from Uruguay over to Argentina for Tourism Week, a lay holiday version of Easter Week between April 11 and 17. According to local media, 95,000 of them were Uruguayan nationals, followed by 11,000 Argentines and 2,000 Brazilian citizens.
