Argentina estimates more corn and less soybeans for 2016/17

Argentina's Agro-industry minister Ricardo Buryaile estimated the 2016/17 corn crop should reach 52.9 million tons, given a 20% increase in the area planted, which will be in detriment of soybeans. The last crop of corn, 2015/16, was 37.9 million dollars.

Anti -establishment Lady mayor for Rome: pledges to end corruption

An anti-establishment candidate has been elected Rome's first female mayor after Sunday's runoff elections in Italy. Thirty-seven-year-old lawyer Virginia Raggi led by a 2-1 margin over Premier Matteo Renzi's chosen candidate, Roberto Giachetti, who conceded defeat less than an hour after polls closed.

“Kiss chain” in support of Remain, and a vote of love for tolerance and unity

France wants strong immediate action from European Council if UK votes Leave

French economy minister Emmanuel Macron said on Saturday the EU should act quickly and firmly if Britain votes next week to leave the European Union.
