Japanese PM arrives in Argentina with pledges to increase investments

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will make an official visit to Argentina this Monday hoping to boost investment in the Latin American nation, officials said. It is the first visit to Argentina by a Japanese prime minister in 57 years—the last was by Abe’s grandfather Nobusuke Kishi in 1959.

From this Monday (21 November), frequent travelers to the UK from 16 new countries will be eligible to apply for membership of the scheme, which brings the potential for improved trade and tourism links.

Argentina upset with Falklands for insisting Darwin cemetery operation should be trilateral

The Argentine government is trying to agree with the UK on the humanitarian mission to identify the remains of an estimated eighty Argentine combatants (from 1982) buried in Falklands' Darwin cemetery, but there are still details to reach, more political than technical, since the Falkland Islanders insist in being part of the official documents, something “which is unacceptable for the Argentine foreign ministry”.

Millions of Americans registered a protest vote on Tuesday, expressing their fierce opposition to an economic and political system that puts wealthy and corporate interests over their own. I strongly supported Hillary Clinton, campaigned hard on her behalf, and believed she was the right choice on Election Day. But Donald J. Trump won the White House because his campaign rhetoric successfully tapped into a very real and justified anger, an anger that many traditional Democrats feel.

The U.S. Geological Survey says it has found the largest continuous oil and gas deposit ever discovered in the United States. A swath of West Texas known as the Wolfcamp shale contains 20 billion barrels of oil and 16 trillion cubic feet of natural gas which makes it nearly three times more petroleum than the agency found in North Dakota's Bakken shale in 2013.
