An RAF transport aircraft last week allegedly made a two-day return trip to Sao Paulo from MPA in the Falkland Islands, according to a report from columnist Martin Dinatale, based on sources from the Argentine Defense ministry. The aircraft was an Airbus 330 which left MPA on Sunday 12 March at 22:44, and landed in Sao Paulo at 2:47 early Monday March 13. On 14 March at 23:47 the Airbus returned to the Falklands.
Argentine Veterans and relatives of fallen in Malvinas had a surprise for Nobel Peace Prize Adolfo Perez Esquivel and his party of fourteen, including a founder of Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, when they landed in Buenos Aires airport after spending a week in the Falkland Islands where they travelled with a “peace, dialogue and sovereignty” message to the Islanders.
The Argentine Ministry of Transport awarded American Jet authorization for an air link between Comodoro Rivadavia, in Patagonia and the Falkland Islands, according to Resolution 136-E/2017 published in the Official Gazette and signed by minister Guillermo Dietrich.
