  Falkland Islands' Fortuna Group has established a wholly owned company in Taiwan to manage its Illex business. Atlantic catch (Taiwan) will be a subsidiary of Atlantic Catch Falkland Islands both of which will be 100% Falklands owned.

  The Falkland Islands' Government in addition to the national two minute’s silence to be held at 11am on Monday 19th September, is inviting the public to take part in a National Moment of Reflection to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and reflect on her life and legacy.

  RAF AirTanker heading to Brize Norton from MPA lands in Rio do Janeiro

  

  An Airbus A330-200 from AirTanker, on contract with the Royal Air Force (RAF), has reportedly made an unscheduled landing at the Galeao airport in Rio do Janeiro. The aircraft took off from the Falkland Islands on Friday (09/09) afternoon, on a regular flight to Brize Norton, with a stopover in Cape Verde, but ended in Rio.

  Argentina rejects Falklands’ “illegitimate stand” in Montevideo; British authorities responded

  

  Argentina rejected on Saturday the presence of a stand of the “illegitimate government” of the Falkland Islands, for which it maintains a sovereignty dispute with the United Kingdom, at the agro-industrial fair Expo Prado, held in Montevideo, according to a statement released by the Argentine Foreign Ministry.
