  British Prime Minister David Cameron vowed to return to Gibraltar, as he underscored his commitment to always stand up for the Rock. In a recorded address for the people of Gibraltar, PM Cameron said he wanted to return to the Rock because he admired this community, its achievements and its positive commitment to the EU.

  Gibraltar court will decide on a man who unfurled a Spanish flag in the Rock

  

  A man was arrested in connection with the unfurling of a Spanish flag in Gibraltar. The man remains in Police custody and will be appearing before the Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday morning.

  Cameron cancels “Stronger in Europe” rally in Gibraltar following killing of Labor MP

  

  Thursday's “Stronger in Europe” rally at Gibraltar at which UK Prime Minister David Cameron was due to speak, was cancelled at the last minute after Labour MP Jo Cox was shot and stabbed in an attack in West Yorkshire. The news of the fatal attack came shortly after Cameron arrived t the Rock.

  Gibraltar’s Spanish neighboring towns fear Brexit: ‘it would be a disaster’

  

  UK exit from the European Union would be “a disaster” that would risk creating “an economic and social rift” between Gibraltar and the neighbouring region in Spain, the Cross-Frontier Group said in a report published by the Gibraltar Chronicle. The group’s president, Ángel Serrano, warned that Brexit posed a serious risk to employment and investment on both sides of the border.

  Garcia-Margallo joint sovereignty comments referred to Gibraltar dismissed

  Gibraltar has benefited from 60m Euros in EU funding

  

  On the day that the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and the Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Joseph Garcia leave for Brussels, the Government of Gibraltar considers that it is important to highlight the fact that Gibraltar stands to receive a total of nearly 60 million Euros in EU funding since the first allocation of such funds was made in 1990. This includes the current program.

  Hammond's Gibraltar visit triggered several hostility actions from Spain

  

  Britain's Foreign Secretary's arrival and departure flights into Gibraltar last week were not allowed to overfly Spanish territory and flew over Portugal instead. This was one of several hostility incidents of Spanish officials towards London. The overfly ban was confirmed to Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation by the Convent (Governor's residence in the Rock).
