The Royal Falkland Island Police would like to inform the public that on Thursday 13 June 2024 between 2:00pm – 3:00pm Ross Road will be closed from Barrack Street up to Reservoir Road junction. There will be no access via Cable Street.

Argentina's Foreign Ministry issued a statement Monday on the 195th anniversary of the establishment of a garrison known as the Political and Military Command in the Falklands/Malvinas Islands in the name of the Province of Buenos Aires. According to Resolution 63/111 of December 2008, the UN General Assembly designated 8 June as World Oceans Day. And “Awaken New Depths” is the theme for World Oceans 2024.

We would like to advise the public that a Sea Harrier and Lynx helicopter will be transported to Stanley at the following times.
