Dolphin Fund Ltd said late Thursday that it has decided not to make an offer for FIH Group PLC at this time, following a letter from the Falkland Islands Government warning FIH about its status should it undertake a change of ownership.

Trump's MOAB kills 36 IS militants: allegedly no civilians casualties

A US military strike with a weapon known as the “mother of all bombs” (MOAB) killed 36 IS militants and destroyed their base, the Afghan defense ministry says. The most powerful non-nuclear bomb ever used by the US in combat was dropped on IS tunnels in Nangarhar province. No civilians were affected by the explosion, the ministry said.

Falklands announces the Queen's Birthday Parade, April 21st

The Falkland Islands Government has announced that the parade to celebrate the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen will be held at Victory Green in Stanley on Friday 21st April 2017. The parade will form up at Victory Green at 10.20 hours and His Excellency the Governor will arrive at 10.30 hours.
