  Falklands/Malvinas special session at Aladi's offices in Montevideo

  

  The Latin American Integration Association, Aladi, with main offices in Montevideo, will be holding on Thursday an extraordinary meeting on the Falklands/Malvinas Islands question in the framework of the recent Day of Affirmation of Argentine rights over the South Atlantic Islands (June 10), and the fiftieth anniversary of UN Assembly Resolution 2065, which called on Argentina and UK to dialogue and find a solution to the dispute.

  US opens its market to Argentine fresh beef imports; lemons still pending

  

  Argentina announced that the United States APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) has allowed fresh beef imports from Argentina, lifting a 15-year ban which Buenos Aires had always considered 'unjustified' and bluntly 'protectionist' and as such had claimed before the WTO.   UN Decolonization Committee supports Argentina's Falklands/Malvinas claims

  

  The United Nations Decolonization Committee approved on Thursday a new resolution urging the United Kingdom to discuss the Falklands/Malvinas dispute with Argentina, in order to find a peaceful solution to the conflict. The decision came as no surprise since it has become an annual event despite Falklands' representatives demand for C24 to act in support of Non Self Governing Territories.

  New antiaircraft missile test in Falklands, on fears of “more Argentine aggression”
