  Ukrainians operating veteran Falklands war Sea King helicopter donated by UK

  

  BBC has reported that a military helicopter donated to Ukraine by the UK government was used in the Falklands conflict more than 40 years ago, but despite its age, the Ukrainian military says the chopper will help in the fight against Russia.

  Falkland Islands new Fishery Patrol Vessel expected to arrive this weekend

  

  The new Fishery Patrol Vessel, FPV Lilibet is due to arrive into Port William over the coming weekend. Her arrival has been delayed due to the Captain making the decision to assist a vessel in need during a storm. FPV Lilibet was stood down by the regional MRCC once a Taiwanese vessel confirmed that they could reach the vessel earlier than FPV Lilibet.

  British solo sailor successfully rescued by Taiwanese jigger 900 miles from the Falklands

  

  British solo sailor Ian Herbert-Jones has been successfully rescued by a Taiwanese fishing vessel after being rolled, dismasted, and injured in a major storm in the South Atlantic, reports the Yachting Monthly.

  Argentine veterans want Foradori sacked from Foreign Ministry

  

  A group of Argentine war veterans Monday filed a petition before Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero to dismiss former Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Mario Foradori from the country's diplomatic corps for “having acted recklessly” in the conclusion, in 2016, of the joint declaration known as the Foradori-Duncan agreement to the “detriment of the interests of the Argentine Republic relating to the Malvinas question.”
