  The Falklands Islands Government have just recently finalized a review process of their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Falklands Conservation, a local environmental NGO. This is an important partnership for the Government and has been in place 2006 on a formal basis.

  Heineken brewery has been caught red handed with one of its beers' label referring to the disputed South Atlantic islands as “Falklands” and in brackets saying they belong to the United Kingdom, despite the fact the Dutch company is using Patagonian yeast.

  Atlas A400M replaces Hercules at Falklands' Mount Pleasant Complex

  

  The Atlas A400M arrived in the Falkland Islands last week. Having completed the 20 hour journey from the UK, A400M touched down at Mount Pleasant Complex on Tuesday afternoon, a week ago.

  The central ceremony of the Malvinas war 36th anniversary is held in Ushuaia

  

  On the 36th anniversary of the beginning of the 1982 South Atlantic conflict Argentine Interior minister Rogelio Frigerio called “for intelligent ways to advance in our legitimate claim of the Malvinas Islands' sovereignty”. Frigerio was the main speaker at the central event of the 36th anniversary held this Monday in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego province, next to the Beagle channel.

  Falklands: Argentine families visit graves of previously unidentified soldiers

  Falklands: Argentine professor visits Stanley and offers proposal to “end the dispute”

  

  Argentine Professor of International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva, Marcelo Kohen, has studied disputes and resolutions in different parts of the world. Last Monday Kohen was in the Falkland Islands and at a public meeting in Stanley, he presented a proposal to put “an end to the dispute”.

  Falklands second flight: Minister Faurie confirms the interest of seven airlines

  

  Argentine foreign minister Jorge Faurie this week revealed to the Senate foreign affairs committee that seven airlines have stated their interest in servicing a second commercial flight between the Falkland Islands and the continent: two from Uruguay, two from Chile and three from Brazil.
